Seven of St. Ignatius College Prep’s most distinguished faculty and staff members, including Football Head Coach and English Department Chair, Tony Harris, were recently named to the list of Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers .
The program nationally recognizes teachers, coaches and adult leaders who have influenced, inspired and required excellence from their students. The nomination process for the program is done by all of the students listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students, The National Dean's List, and Who's Who Among American High School Students - Sports Edition publications which honor the nation's top high school and college students. Only the people listed in these publications are given the opportunity to nominate a teacher who has been most influential during their academic career.
For being named to the list by a former student, each person will be listed in the nationally recognized annual publication, Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers as one of our country’s best and most respected teachers. Copies of this book go out across the country to each state’s largest libraries for public viewing, as well as to Illinois State Superintendent of Education, Randy J. Dunn.
Congratulations to Coach Harris.
